So she began to concentrate on GCSE and A-level Maths students with one mission in mind: not just teach the subject but more importantly help students to appreciate the artistry, the beauty and the precise nature of the subject rather than being intimidated by it. In other words, training them to love Maths and appreciate learning rather than avoiding it.
Since then, dealing with her students' weak subject knowledge, different abilities and varying degrees of dislike for the subject, not to mention its general negative image amongst the general student population, has equipped Dr. Mahdmina with over 20 years of experience in successfully training young aspiring mathematicians with a passion for learning the subject and appreciate its beauty, even if they wish to pursue other subjects.
The dramatic effect of Dr Mahdmina's approach on her students to love Maths often translates in significant improvements in grades achieved by them. This is evident in the testimonials from parents and students alike praising her impact on the dramatic results she had achieved with them.
